Exciting things are happening.  On Pentacost Sunday 2009 we changed our name from Mission of Grace to River's Cross.   We will soon open a completely new website under the name "www.riverscross.org".  In the meantime we will continue to provide information about River's Cross here.  We invite you to listen to the sermon given on Pentacost Sunday for a futher discussion of the name and how it relates to God's call or read "Whats in a Name" below.  We remain a  parish of the Anglican Mission in America and are located on Virginia's Lower Peninsula, in the Hampton Roads area.

We offer a sacred space to worship and grow in ministry to the  Lord within the liturgical framework of the Anglican tradition,  honoring the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the authority of the Holy Scriptures and the celebration of Holy Eucharist. If  you don't know what any of that means, we offer a safe place from  which you can begin your discovery through small group meetings  for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer.  Our Sunday worship is filled with the joy of the Lord and sound teaching, and is followed by a mealtime for food, fellowship, and witness.
